Ace Borger Killed
A. P. Borger was killed by Arthur Huey, the County Treasurer on August 31, 1934 at the Borger Post Office located on Main Street in Borger. Huey was acquitted since Borger was also carrying a gun. Huey seemed to be cooking the county books, and Judge Norman Coffee ordered the books to be examined. Huey also threatened to kill Coffee, but it never happened.
