Music of the 1920's and 1930's

With World War I over, America and Americans rushed headlong into the Twenties. They were not called "Roaring" for nothing. Though alcoholic beverages were forbidden, it seemed they were everywhere; especially in speakeasies where Jazz was played and loose women were available if you had the price. Jazz was the most popular music and bright lights were the attractions to the dance floor. It was the Boom before the Bust of the 1930s. Fats Waller and Louis Armstrong were the movers and shakers of the Twenties when it came to music.
