J. M. Huber Corporation started in 1881 as a manufacturer of printing inks and pigments. Huber is now a diversified company that produces oil and natural gas, carbon black, synthetic and inorganic pigments, tools and equipment for the petroleum industry, timber and plywood, calcium carbonate and trace minerals. These products are sold to the refineries and pipelines as well as to the rubber, paper, printing, paint, adhesive, plastic, insecticide, ceramic, animal feed, packaging, and home construction industries.
